DECISIONS

Decisions are a huge part of our lives . This means we all make them every now and then. For example deciding good or evil, to please your parents or not, follow rules or not among others. So in this context of healing we need to really analyse how we have been leading our lives and start making or changing decisions that have not been bearing good fruit to ones that will bring good fruits.

Some of us life takes us to places physically, emotionally , physiologically and mentally in a traumatic way ,which arouses our growth in decision making.
Just like many people have elaborated that to bear fruit, a seed has to be planted in soil which many refer to as dirt , then it has to be watered consistently for it to nurture well sothat it grows a stronger stem, show beautiful leaves and when the fruit is budding , since it looks beautiful its flowers will attract bees and other insects for pollination sothat fruit can sprout.

Many of us have to go through this process like this beautiful plant for us to see this beauty in our lives. Good decision making sometimes involves change of friends, environment, behaviour among others.
moreover, the scriptures say what fills the heart is what flows out of someone. So if our hearts are not right the decisions will not be pure and right. However it might be bitter sweet to make the right decisions when God the holy spirit is working on your heart. To be exact it be like trying to walk right with your broken ankle but persistently you won’t feel pain any more.

I will camp here in the book of 1 chronicles 9 and 10. JABEZ was very wise even in his pain because he chose to turn to God instead of hating his mother, being jealous of his siblings, or turning to destructive behaviour. Another person who made great decisions amidst his pain was Joseph, he chose to obey his slave masters until he was given the job of being a governor, and he chose not to sleep with the wife of his boss, to sum it up he took The high road.
The other great person to who many of us relate in our walks is David. David sinned but he always knew his place when God sent prophets to talk to him. That place was turning to God and repenting and making sure he made things right with the people he wronged possibly.
LETS DIVE DEEPER IN THE SCRIPTURES;
In the beginning , specifically in exodus 20 , the ten commandments helped the Israelites make the right decisions until they refused to follow. Now we should use them to just mirror whether we are following the right decisions or not.

The Ten Commandments today don’t rule us, but help us assess our lives. For example the first, second, and third commandments, God states his position in our lives, and trust him if he wants that position and you give it to him everything will fall in line because he is very reliable. The fourth commandment helps us to decide to rest ,be healthy, and have time for God, family, friends, and us.
The fifth advises us to honor our parents regardless of whom they are, how much they earn among others. The reward is long life. The sixth is you shall not murder, this can be a human being, or people’s dreams (many of us do this because of envy and jealousy). The seventh, God is against adultery towards our married spouses and he described in the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd commandments, and this, asks for honesty and faithfulness in everything we engage in for the sake of others and us. The 8th is doing not stealing, this involves anything, physical, or emotional (do not steal anyone’s joy or peace of mind).
The 9th you shall not tell false testimony against your neighbour, for God the holy spirit knows how long he has been training me to stop gossiping. I tell you i donot want too ,because I know the position it puts me in God’s .i have friends who keep stife in their lives and when they hurt and I think they need someone to listen to them and I start judging ,it doesn’t sound good. On the 10th, you shall not covet your neighbour’s house or wife, his male or female servant, his ox or donkey or anything that belongs to the neighbours
For those who do not trust themselves or who ever needs wisdom can always follow David’s route in psalms 25:4 where he asked God to show him, his ways , teach him his paths guide him in his truth and teach him and ask him for his help because he acknowledged him as his savior and he declared that his hope was in him all day. Sometimes we know the right direction to take but to make things more interesting,
we need to copy the ways of David so that God comes in to help us with decisions in a supernatural way. This can be done by people who are gifted with the holy spirit and all who have accepted Jesus Christ as their savior.
