LOVING THE BROKEN

Although there has risen a large number of motivational speakers talking to people about self-help and how to make their lives better, we still have people who are broken and do not know how to live with others or themselves because of the past or current hurt and they end up not treating other people well. How do you treat someone who is hurting? How do you treat someone who treats other people poorly because they are hurting?

Many of us due to past hurts are hurting though we try to numb the pain lying to ourselves that we are tough. The way we treat others through our words or actions is a great way to depict healing. The Bible says that what fills the heart is what comes out of a person’s mouth and sometimes if our mouth cannot take it anymore we include actions. So many children who are hurting start acting up because they cannot take it anymore and in most cases, parents fail to realize that the way they discipline or regularly treat their children cannot be done for a longer time than a phrase. I think we need to change the disciplinary techniques of our children depending on their body and mental changes.

How do you treat someone who is hurting you and they are hurting too? This takes a mature Christian in spirit to keep love for them. Fellowshipping and communing with the Holy Spirit keeps you in a good attitude and I pray that you pray for them too. This can start rocky at first but it gets easier with time. Sometimes these broken people realise their attitude later and they change and others fail because sometimes people who have been hurt for a long time start to enjoy being hurt and sometimes create stories in their heads to feed the hurt.

It takes someone bold to confront the situation mainly a relative or friend to lead them for quite some good time to a psychologist and encourage them to attend communities that can help them so that the broken situation cycle stops being normal to them. Many people have been deceived or they have deceived themselves that they cannot break the cycle of hurt in their lives but just you know with almighty God, everything is possible because am a living example.

This is all about showing up every single day by this I mean seek the kingdom of God through prayer, your actions, and your words, and slowly the kingdom will come and you will walk in the presence of God, where peace and joy dwell.
