Loving you and others when broken can sometimes be blurry but we need to do it. Brokeness can be sickness, traumas, climbing the ladder of sucess among others. After praying while waiting for God to work, putting up a strategy is wise.
I will give an example of living with people when you don’t agree the way they live or previously you were offended by them, before you step out to walk past them rehearse how you will say hello to them , not to cringe when you meet them.
There are many times when we think it is ok to love people from afar because even at the simplest we keep people away , its a problem for you if we don’t deal with it. (I will exempt a scenario where the person can harm you to extent of taking your life or physical violence ) . Joseph loved his brothers even if they broke his heart, and David loved his son Absalom even after he plotted to take his throne, imagine the process, Esau went through deciding to meet Jacob and letting him pass through his property without making him pay for the past wrongs against him.
Moses loved the Israelites and he really pleaded with God not to destroy them even though they broke his heart daily. How many of us have been hurt or have hurt others? Do you want people to forgive you or throw you away? With all this writing, don’t forget if you have a relationship with our God the Son, Jesus Christ, he gifted you with the holy spirit to help you reconcile and love people.

This was proven in my personal life. One might call it hatred but I neither loved nor hated this particular person and when it was time for me to grow spiritually, I had to start speaking to them but I couldn’t do it or find a way of doing it, what I did was to ask the holy spirit like I was advised, then apply the principle of praying for your enemies daily. I don’t know how and when it started but the holy spirit did it and I started saying hullo and later the cringe that came inside my heart when I saw this person finally went away.
