Matthew 11:28-30
New International Version
28 “Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. 29 Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. 30 For my yoke is easy and my burden is light.”
God’s budden on us is changing our perception of love to the agape way of loving others. This process is not easy but we have to honor the following scripture.
Matthew 22:36-40
New International Version
36 “Teacher, which is the greatest commandment in the Law?”
37 Jesus replied: “‘Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.’[a] 38 This is the first and greatest commandment. 39 And the second is like it: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’[b] 40 All the Law and the Prophets hang on these two commandments.”
Many of us know that we run this life on relationships and if they are made with evil or selfish motives you are bound to be at a loss either emotionally through heart breaks or the other ways. Many will say, i do not need them but without you changing your heart posture, you will run whenever you do not approve of somebody’s way of living or doing things. So when the Agape love is being perfected, it will help you have peace and joy in amidst of storms. This explains why jesus christ slept in the storm while his desciples were afraid. Jesus christ without his desciples or the people who were for him or against him wouldn’t have accomplished his purpose. He depended on the holy spirit who helped him know what to do, when to do it, perfect his authority both in the spiritual ram and on earth. To have Authority on earth is to live in Agape love. Without agape love , you will run for the rest of your life and end up lonely. Qoute me right , Agape love doesnot compromise the principles of God but the perfect example is the life of jesus christ here on earth. Have you ever been at odds with some body? Your emotions will be every where and if that person doesnot care about your feelings, they will have authority over you. I used to feel an emotional ache whenever someone who i didnot like came around thus they commanded my peace and joy whenever they were around me. When you live this kind of love there is guaranteed protection. i would say those who are threatened physically take measures but do not stay in situations that will cost you , your life. One great preacher gave a scenario that even david was anoited to take the throne but when saul threw spears at him, he fled for his life until God dealt with the situation at hand.
Proverbs 16:32

And he who rules his spirit than he who takes a city.
God’s yoke and budden is to work in us the fruits of the holy spirit and inorder for the fruits to be cultivated we need prunning. lets see scriptures both fruits of the holy spirit and prunning.
Galatians 5:22-23

22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, 23 [a]gentleness, self-control. Against such there is no law.
AGAPE LOVE =FRUITS OF THE HOLY SPIRIT.
John 15:2

2 Every branch in Me that does not bear fruit He [a]takes away; and every branch that bears fruit He prunes, that it may bear more fruit.
Working the fruits of the holy spirit doesn’t come easy because it requires us to be prunned. God said that no weapon formed against us will prosper and when you feel it, it doesnot mean that the enemy has won. God is not a man that he should lie. Remember when Joseph told his brothers “

Do not exclude yourself because God knows you very well before you were formed in your mother’s womb, he sees you every single second and he has a purpose for your life. Many do not fulfill their purpose because they ignore God’s existence and their dependence on him. Without God , you will die empty with a billion dollar account or estate.
