LIVING WATER IS THE HOLY SPIRIT.
THE CONDITION OF THE HEART DETERMINES HOW FAR OR DEEP THE HOLY SPIRIT CAN CULTIVATE HIS FRUITS IN OUR LIVES TO BE SET FREE AND FREE INDEED.
CHOOSE LIFE always.
Just as Lucifer wanted to contest the almighty God and take his place, seems like you also want to contest the position of God in your life. Just as lucifer was thrown in hell, you will also be thrown in it if you do not wake up and find your place in the kingdom of God and stay where he assigned you in obedience. Lucifer might have thought this coup was for the best for him and the 2/3 of the angels but God positioning him there in his duties was in his best interest. He would have accomplished more with the gifts that where entrusted him with and this would have improved his relationship with him. But just as Cain refused to change from his way into the ways of God, this destructed way of living that’s why he is hoovering in this world like roaring lion looking for someone to devour. Remember God gave us free will and that’s why he left that tree in the middle of the garden. Free will is for God almighty to see those he can trust and those he cannot. You will also say that you dislike people who compromise on the love between you and them. God measures our trust for him by our obedience in what he entrusts us to do or not to do. Besides the garden their other places where God showed us, we still have free will to either accept him and have a splendid relationship with him or find our own way in this world.
These scriptures above are some of the statements that show that almighty God does not force us to have relationship with him rather its us to figure it out after the rough ride we have here on earth. Remember our main key is building us the best life for us. This life cannot happen without God. Imagine a pot without a potter.
There is a cost for having a relationship with God.
I do not want you to engage on this road without you knowing the price only to fall off on this journey. Building a life with God is like building a mansion. We all know how mansions look like. Without the right materials and space, it you cannot make it stand for a long time. Just as the foundation has to be deep in order to be firm on the ground, the first cost is the fear of God and remember that when we think of building a house, we must have saved up some money. And what is in our saving account let’s see;
After evaluating our spiritual saving account lets lean into the first cost to incur, it’s the fear of God.
We are very sure that our account can sustain our whole entire time we need until we complete this mansion. With that saving account we need to get some of it and spend this will be a metaphor for repentance which will usher us into the fear of God and into holiness. The fear of God actually means being afraid to be away from God. By this I mean since we were gifted with the holy spirit to help us search the deep things of God to reveal them to us so that we know more our lord Jesus Christ but in order for him to make these things known to us he needs to purify our spirits and while he is doing this it makes our soul clean, heal and our bodies not to be fleshy. For this to happen our spirits will start communicating to our souls what pleases God and what displeases God. With more communion and fellowshipping with the holy spirit and our obedience to do what he tells us to do through our spirits, we will keep on changing and healing too. if disobedience happens the holy spirit’s nudge will become mild and mild and eventually you will stop hearing him and this will lead you to lawlessness and this will invite evil spirit with its friends which is anger, bitterness, diseases, rage, conflict, strife, insecurities rising from comparison among others. We all need holiness arising from the fear of God so that we can sustain our relationship with God and this will bring more protection because if we are pleasing God he will never lift his hedge of protection around us and if he lets the hurt through its not to punish us but giving us an opportunity to bare more fruit and no more about his character.
Now you know the cost of having a relationship with Jesus christ. Let me just say that when Adam fell everything on earth fell with him . he opened the earth to way a lot of trouble that we cannot barely lift by ourselves. Jesus christ left the world saying;
Jesus with all his superiority and dominion he said this to us ,who are you to think that without him you can survive . Many of us are dealing with mental illness but analyze the sickness it starts with the fact that you practice lawlessness. The devil loves to give us his thoughts and we think they are your own. Those who are Christ know that God said we should bring down everything that exalts itself above the word of God. just like Jesus did in the with the devil in the wilderness.
Back in the garden of Eden if Eve had spent more time with God and not only take the words Adam communicated to her from God, she would have been able to fight off the devil when he came for her mind. Just like the word of the bible, yes it communicated to us but we still need the holy spirit to bring more light which many of us call revelation. It’s very funny that spending more time with God, I realized that in God’s creativeness he can also solve a million issues with just one verse he put for us in the bible. it’s all about the diligence in the time through fellowship and communion with the holy spirit.
Just as I was saying the fear of God is the beginning of wisdom;
What is wisdom? Google says;
Proverbs defines wisdom as the ability to judge correctly and apply the best course of action based on knowledge and understanding. Another way to describe wisdom is the moral skill for living revealed through God’s word, which instructs us about how to act as he desires.
Many might over look this but it helped many people from the Old Testament days to our day to day to have great relationships with God, personally and with others. God gave us wisdom in this fallen world. Click on any of the following proverb chapters to know more about wisdom.
Not forgetting the this promises from God almighty and for our sake it still applies today. Whoever wants to cross from where you are to the life you want this applies to you.
Let’s stay here for a minute on psalms 37:4. If Jesus Christ is our anchor in the earth for along time or until he trusts us, he will plant whatever he loves and cause us to hate whatever he hates. Many of us dwell so much on the part of gifts in this scripture but it also caters to the desires like helping others, forgiving those who offend us, doing the right thing however hard it seems even when we see no reward in it and many others that he uses to breath joy and peace from the inside out.
HOW WE FIGHT.
Many of us are angry with God. why? because we expect him to bail us through everything. i have an atheist sister who said where was God when this one and that one was torturing me? Trouble comes to all of us because this is a fallen world. we all blame God but blame Adam and get over it because we won’t find solution if we stay at blaming anyone. in the beginning there was no pain but only gain, Adam was given a fair chance to either enjoy the presence of God or let Eve be greedy and please Eve at the same time by disobeying God and eat the fruit. To be clear, Eve was deceived but Adam disobeyed because the devil only spoke to Eve. He chose the fruit and the fruit is this world and everything that is in it. so, who are you blaming now? The only way out of this fallen world is to swim which is having a relationship with God or else we shall sink in depression, anxiety, diseases and finally kill ourselves.
You have heard or lived with people who have suicidal thoughts or even put others in harm’s way by beating them or killing them. Let me be honest, the devil as usual if he finishes stealing you from the presence of God, he will continue to whisper in your mind in order to destroy you with the intension of killing you finally. There is a scripture that says, the devil comes to steal, kill and destroy.
In this fallen world don’t say you can make it on your own. Do we all know the story of Noah? The way God reasoned in the measurements he gave him to build the boat in order to make them survive, the storm says it all that God knows what will make us survive the storms of this world. That is living in his principles under his relationship.
With the spiritual perspective Paul advises us to;
The scriptures say that God encouraged us to choose life. After choosing life which is having a relationship with God, we will be given a gift of the Holy Spirit. We are expected to live and fight in the spiritual ram. This calls for the only person who is God the holy spirit to help us access the spiritual ram. God the holy spirit helps us to activate our spirit, feed our spirit and further goes on to do more work in us because we become his temple. He becomes our life partner.
